Why am I here on earth?

Count Zinzendorf summarized his life perfectly and I could not agree more. My life mission is “to preach, to die, and be forgotten.” I believe that God had made me to glorify him through the gifts and the passion that he had given me. I believe that I am a leader. I love to lead people in a team setting where we all have the common goal. There is a saying, “actions speak louder than words.” I believe that actions speak louder with words. Being involved in ministry since high school, serving the Lord through leading multiple ministries in church and school were opportunities I absolutely adored. God made me to encourage and love people that are around me. He made me to be the light to my community and neighborhood. Ever since it was clear that the Lord had called me to ministry, I knew that my joy and peace is found in Christ and thus so, I want to share the good news with everyone I know. In the midst of being around people who do not know Christ, I am here on earth to represent Jesus by re-presenting Christ to those who have rejected or never heard of Him. I believe that the Lord had created me to be his vessel to the world. God had allowed me to live ultimately so that I can witness his love for me and for me to enjoy his creation—as all loving parents would want their kids to enjoy. While doing so, God had given me a desire to get married someday and have a family. I plan to grow my future children to love them wholeheartedly and grow to bless other people and glorify God with their goals and passion as I hope to do with my life. Parenting is another goal that I hope one day to dream as well as loving my future wife. As cliché as this sound, I believe that God had made me to make it one of my calling in life, as it was for my parents.
I also love sports, especially football. God being a great Father to me, I know that he will provide me with opportunities that will bring most glory to His name. Along with my passion for ministry, I want make an impact on athletes by being a chaplain for a football team. I believe that I have a personality to relate with athletes of different backgrounds, especially if something they need is a spiritual guidance. There are so many athletes who focus—to a point of idolization—because that particular sports matter so much to them. It’s a beautiful realization when athletes realize how metaphorical sports are to their relationship with God. I want to help walk with them to realize the beauty of having Jesus as their Lord and Savior. God has placed me on earth to be a mentor to those who are in need of guidance. I want to be a solid cornerstone to people whom I love as Christ is the cornerstone in my life.
